One of the recent lessons I’ve done with Six Minutes to Success contained a quote by Robert Strauss on Leadership. It puts a smile on your face, but is also very true.
About Leadership:
It’s a little like wrestling a gorilla – you don’t quit when you’re tired, you quit when the gorilla’s tired.
Robert Strauss
It’s so true isn’t it? In any Leadership role, it can become very tiring continuing to reinforce the same lessons, rules, and strategies, but it is very necessary for success. As a leader, if you allow yourself to stop because you are feeling weary, what will happen to the ones you are leading?
This principle applies very well to parenting also. If we decide we are too tired to keep reinforcing the rules with our teenagers, and decide to let them make all the decisions for themselves, down the track we are going to have a mess to clean up (if that’s possible) and possibly have our hearts broken.
Doing the hard yards in a Leadership position means having the grit to keep going, when your body is telling you you have had enough. The rewards mentally and emotionally are very worth continuing the fight though, in our hearts we know that is true.
So, go wrestle your gorilla – I’m cheering for you!
]]>Since the advent of “The Secret” many people have become frustrated with their lack of success creating the life they desire, even though they have done their best to follow the guidelines set out in this video. The reason is there is more to creating your life than just the Law of Attraction. This Law is just one of the Universal Laws which govern our universe, and when we understand them and work with these laws, we move from being people who are reacting to our world, to people who are creating our own destiny in spite of what is going on around us.
Quality Law of Attraction Tools, are very beneficial in helping us focus on the right things to help bring about the desired results in our lives. Over the years I have come across several good ones, and I’ll mention them here for you.
Mind Movies is a visualization product which helps you create personal movies of your ideal life. The power of these movies is that they can include photos, affirmations, and music that is meaningful to you, and particular to your life. Watching these movies twice a day can make a huge difference to aligning your subconscious mind with the type of life you desire. Visit Mind Movies Website
In this program, Bob Proctor teaches how he believes the Law of Attraction is incomplete, and he teaches about eleven other universal laws that work with the Law of Attraction and why we need to understand them too. Visit 11 Forgotten Laws Website

Six Minutes to Success is one of my favorite Law of Attraction Tools, and tool for success. This product is daily video lessons, of 1-2 minutes long, by Bob Proctor. Each lesson has an exercise to do afterward which takes another couple of minutes. You complete the lessons at the beginning of each day and work on what you’ve learned as you move through your day. I’ve found this method of learning to be very enjoyable, and it has made it very easy for me to apply what I’m learning. The results have been great too. Visit 6 Minutes to Success Website

The original Mind Movies software was released a few years ago. The developers have spent the last 12 months making the program easier to use and more effective in getting the results from using it.
It is all about changing the paradigms in our sub-conscious mind. If this is a new concept to you, stay with me. Our paradigms are our sub-conscious beliefs about who we are, what we are capable of achieving, and about how we view life in general. These beliefs are instilled into us from birth, and will remained unchanged unless we decide to do something about them.
You want to change your paradigms, or sub-conscious beliefs, if they are not allowing you to achieve your dreams or goals. If you are struggling to make progress towards your goals, the reason is that your paradigms are preventing you.
Mind Movies is a perfect way to help us kick old beliefs out of our sub-conscious mind, and replace them with beliefs that will create the life of our dreams. Do you know the concept of the “Dream Board” where you create a picture board of your goals – ie. your ideal home, dream holiday, the career your aiming for, your perfect lifestyle?
The Mind Movies software allows you to create, in minutes, a personal movie of your ideal life. Complete with music, photos, and affirmations of the life you want to live, you can create your own 3 minute movie of your future life.
By watching your own personal movie of your ideal life twice a day, you can instill into your sub-conscious mind the new beliefs of where you want to go in life. Watching a movie of your dreams is far more engaging than looking at a picture board.
By getting our emotions involved in our visualization, the power of our ability to attract those things into our life is greatly multiplied. Bob Proctor explains it really well in the first video at this website: Mind Movies
At the website, you get access to 6 free Ready-made Mind Movies that you can download for your own use. This gives you the opportunity to see what these Mind Movies look like, and imagine how powerful one you make for yourself could potentially be.
As mentioned above, Mind Movies 2.0 is currently in prelaunch, and during this week, videos with Bob Proctor, John Assaraf, and Joe Vitale are being released. They explain further how this software can help you achieve your goals.
If this sounds like something that could help you, you can Access the Mind Movie Website here

“Lack of persistence is a weakness common to the majority of people, a weakness which may be overcome with effort. The ease with which lack of persistence may be conquered will depend entirely upon theintensity of one’s desire. The starting point of all achievement is DESIRE. Keep this constantly in mind. Weak desires bring weak results, just as a small amount of fire makes a small amount of heat. If you find yourself lacking inpersistence, the weakness may be remedied by building a stronger fire under your desires.”
What I’m understanding from this is that if you have a goal which you are failing to take action on, thereason for this is that your desire for your goal isn’t strong enough. Your WHY isn’t powerful enough to motivate you to do what is required, especially when the steps necessary are steps that you don’t enjoy or you fear.
I encourage you to re-examine your reason for setting your goal in the first place. Is it still something youwant? If so, find the reason or reasons that you desire this goal. Are they powerful? Are they powerful enough? Spend time thinking about and experiencing in your imagination how your life will change when you have achieved your goal.
Hold onto that emotion. Spending time “living” your achievement before you reach your goal will keep you motivated, and help you be persistent in doing whatever is required for you to get to your target.
You don’t have to spend hours doing this – 5 minutes a day will amaze you in what a difference it will make to your progress. The mind is so powerful. We can think ourselves into achieving our goals by giving ourselves enough time each day to visualize our dream, live it in our imaginations, feel the emotions of success.
This will build thefire under our desire. When our desire grows, our lack of persistence disappears, because we know wherewe are going, and we are determined to get there. I have found 6 Minutes to Success to be a extremely powerful tool in helping me keep focus and steer mylife toward my dreams.
The training is in daily portions, perfect to start the day right. You can get more information on the program here: Six Minutes to Success with Bob Proctor

In these short and concise videos, Bob presents areas that may require attention in your life. Areas that could be stopping you reaching your potential in life. I’m in the fourth week of the series, and have just finished the section of videos on Negative emotions. Honestly, I’m somewhat stunned at the results.
I’ve had several “light-bulb” moments, but I’ve had them before too. What is different about this program, is the workbook that you print out and work through with the videos. This program is getting results for me – and quickly. In literally the space of 6 minutes or less, each day over the last few weeks, I have been able to deal with a couple of negative emotions that have plagued me for years.
Six Minutes to Success is so simple, that I honestly couldn’t see how it could achieve significant results, but it definitely is in my life. And, it takes so little time. That is truly the beauty of it, everyone can find 6 minutes a day, 5 days a week, to do this.
I highly recommend that you take a look at this program if you aren’t achieving the success you desire in your life.

I recommend implementing some of these ideas if you are working from home. It is wonderful to be at home for your family, but it is also important that you are not frustrated trying to get your work done. I think this especially applies to stay-at-home moms and dads. Because you have the responsibility of caring for the home and family as well, you have a lot more going on in your head than if your partner was taking care of those details for you.
Most of all, keep smiling. If we lose our sense of humour, and life is not much fun.

Richard Evans
It’s true, we all start from where we are. Whether building a business, a relationship, a house, or a career. And, when we look ahead to where we want to be, the journey can look mighty daunting.
One step at a time is the only way to proceed. If we look too far ahead, we’ll never make the finish line. I know it’s necessary to have a vision of where we are going, but the everyday steps we need to take to get us there are where our focus needs to be.
When we start our day, our plan needs to be: What do I need to accomplish today to get me one step closer to my dream? By accomplishing that step, we will feel satisfied. Keeping frustration at bay is important, and the best way to do that is by achieving daily that which will bring us closer to our intention (our dream).
Imagine how much progress can be made if we make one positive step every day towards achieving our dream business, dream relationship, dream house or dream career. How far will you have come in one month? one year?
Having support and encouragement is often the key to whether we reach our final destination. All of us have good and bad days – that’s life. Seeking the support of good mentors and taking the journey one step at a time is a great recipe for success.

Personal Growth and Development is a life-long journey. It involves making decisions and taking action that will affect our lives positively, and also affect the lives of those we rub shoulders with on our journey.
I came across a quote recently, which I love:
Perhaps the most valuable result of all education is the ability to make yourself do the thing you have to do, when it ought to be done, whether you like it or not.
Thomas Huxley
How true that is! How often is it necessary for us to take action on things we don’t particularly want to do? Usually daily. Whether we learn this lesson determines how much progress we make on our personal growth and development journey. Often we struggle with procrastination or lack of confidence, which stop us cold, when we know there is a whole lot more for us to achieve and discover.
I broke through the barrier created by procrastination and lack of confidence in my own life, using the Think Right Now audio programs. I highly recommend them, and I use them every day.
Getting back to Thomas Huxley’s quote, whether we like it or not, our choices determine our future. What we choose today will determine what we get tomorrow and the day after. If you aren’t happy with the results you are getting today, decide to make the choices today that will make tomorrow better for you.

Humans are pleasure-seeking beings, so we find ourselves drawn towards those activiities that give us pleasure rather than activities that are less so.
Now, it is possible to enjoy the things we need to be doing, and when that happens – life is pretty sweet. But, when it is necessary to get to the stuff that we don’t want to do – we find ourselves making excuses to put it off.
When we continue to do this over prolonged periods of time, conditions such as anxiety and panic attacks can occur. We find ourselves feeling overwhelmed, because we feel behind and out-of-control.
To avoid this we need to develop a Can Do attitude, the Mindset to do it now.

Discipline is one of those characteristics that will get the job done. But, not all of us are disciplined. Is it possible to become disciplined when you aren’t by nature?
One of the ways to get your mindset in a better place with regard to procrastination is to think about the consequences of not doing what you need to do.
Every action and decision we make has consequences, good or bad. When we put off doing necessary tasks, there is always a negative consequence.
The up side of this is, when we DO the tasks that we need to do, there are positive consequences. When we focus on the positive results of actually getting the job done, we will feel more motivated and enthusiastic about the task.
Keep the end result in mind.

Here’s an exerpt from the email below:
We’re on to the third of the four underlying factors that make people put off important tasks, and… not so important tasks as well.
So here it is…
It’s sort of a combination, really.
Fear of failure.
Fear of not being able to do a task properly, and all of it’s real or imagined consequences.
This can and does quite often have its roots in perfectionism… not wanting to do anything that you can’t do perfectly (because of those consequences).
Well, as you know, you can’t usually do something perfectly unless you’ve done it a lot, in most cases. And when you do something a lot, in the beginning, you are going to screw up a lot more than you succeed.
Perfectionism has many benefits, but it also can serve to stop you dead in your tracks.
Perfectionists often times only get good at a few things because they aren’t willing to do the things they are not good at. Horrible little loop, isn’t it?
But for some it spurs them onto greatness, and we have a lot of examples of that in every field. In sports, for example, top athletes often practice doing the same things hundreds and even thousands of times in a single day in order to be perfect. Vijay Singh in golf is a good example.
And because perfection is often the difference between winning and losing, you can understand the desire for perfection in a number of different settings. On the battlefield is another place where the cost of mistakes is magnified intensely. Hence the desire to be perfect.

There are thousands of reasons that people are conditioned to not want to settle for anything less than perfection. When it creates greatness, well, that’s great. But for the
majority, since most people are not going to practice, drill and rehearse the things that they want to be perfect at, inside, it just makes you put the task off.
And all it does is look like neurosis to everyone else.
As children, we’ve all heard the line, ‘If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.’
Usually good advice if what you usually say is rude, obnoxious or unnecessarily hurtful in some way, right?
But in most other situations, not doing something unless you can do it right the first time is a recipe for becoming less and less, smaller and smaller until you don’t do anything where failing is possible.
No one can possibly understand all the fears and/or standards that give us each our own brand of procrastination. We all have our own past programming.
So the best way, obviously, to get rid of the procrastination habit would be for each of us to take months of a very specific kind of self-analysis, and look at all the possible fears we have that stop us and all the areas where our standards are so impossibly high that we just can’t go forward with certain kinds of tasks and create our own individual behavior modification programs…
But that would be too expensive and time consuming for 99.999% of the population.
So that leaves the second best option…
Click Here for the Best Tool to End Procrastination Now
To create it, we uncovered ALL the possible reasons people put off things.
We really got ridiculous.
Every stupid fear that anyone could come up with and every legitimate fear, too.
We looked at hundreds of situations, some of them pretty bizarre, that could leave a person with impossibly high standards that make it nearly impossible for them to succeed in their own eyes.
And when you believe you can’t succeed at something or that you can’t do something as well as you’d like to do it, my friend, you ain’t gonna do it.
Simple as that.
What End Procrastination Now does to change this is, use self-talk statements in Suggestopedic Accelerated Learning format to positively oppose those beliefs.
And when you tell yourself enough of anything, good or bad, you WILL begin to believe it. Keep telling it to yourself and nothing in the world will get you to believe otherwise.
That is what makes changing old beliefs, attitudes, emotions and ACTIONS so difficult.
Right?
And that is also what makes every Think Right Now Behavior Modification program so gosh darn effective when used properly and regularly, especially End Procrastination Now.
